There’s something truly special about gathering with people who understand you, who share your stories, laughter, and wisdom. That’s exactly what we’ve created with the Golden Age Club at Akoma Unity Center: a space where seniors 55 and older can connect, learn, and grow together.
Every Tuesday from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM, our group of seniors (ages 55 and up), meets at Akoma to celebrate life, embrace learning, and build meaningful friendships.

- Art Therapy – Express creativity through painting, drawing, and crafting
- Digital Literacy – Learn to navigate technology, from smartphones to social media
- Exercise & Wellness – Stay active with movement classes designed for all levels
- Civic Engagement – Get involved in local initiatives and meaningful discussions

On February 11, 2025, we celebrated our one-year anniversary – a milestone representing hundreds of shared meals, thousands of heartfelt conversations, and an unbreakable bond among our members.
